I feel like this request is either too niche or too common but here goes.

Basically ML, for whatever reason (denial of feelings, or just not taking the conversation srsly enough to be truthful or somn), says something that hurts the MC's feelings because he didn’t think MC wldve been listening. MC begins to second guess their relationship, his feelings, self-worth etc, and starts to act distanced. But the resolution is satisfying. In the mood for angst, hurt/comfort.

I was reading https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/my_cutie_pie_an_ordinary_boy_and_his_gorgeous_childhood_friend_official/ and apparently from the comments **** SPOILERS **** ML and ML's friends talking shit behind MC's back was brushed off, even though we spent ~3 chapters seeing MC's sense of self chip away and started to consider himself ugly. I wld like angst, but a satisfying pay off/resolution.
