I wanna read manga about adopting child, set in modern times. But I want something where everything is shown "from the beginning" when the child and guardian get to know each other for the first time. I mean I don't want story where child was adopted, but the story begins several years after the fact and is not main theme of the story. Of course it can be adoption inside family like in Usagi Drop for example.
Don't give me Spy X Family or Migi&Dali please, they are nice manga, but I wanna something more on realistic side.

There's no proper explanation on character backstories coming back to haunt them. There is a bit, but not as much as there needs to be to draw the story out longer and make it feel complete.

ALSO Uke is a badass, so he won't back down and will go after Zenya. Fun fact... Remember when Zenya pulled off the fake face mask out of Uke face I earlier chapters. That's probably when he fell in love with him and that's why he stuck by his side after seeing his face.
Continuing....When Uke gets better and goes after Zenya (to kill him, cause he was that pissed) he finds Zenya and actually shoots a few times but he was shaking due to the trauma, so none of the bullets actually hurts Zenya and once again Zenya will have his way with him, beat the shit out of him and kidnap him and hide him far far away on an island that was given to him by his dad when he was younger.
The Uke tries to escape twice, first time he almost died, second time Zenya advised him not to try anything dangerous. now let's talk about the "weapon Anastasia" first of all.... it doesn't exist yes Zenya tried to create it but it was a failure but nobody apart from him knows this, even his family is scared of him because they believe the weapon exists.
Back to the Uke and Zenya story..., So he is stuck in an island with this psycho. One day while Zenya was away, Uke gets a visitor, guess who!! Zenya sister, she is so sweet and treats the Uke well. But when Zenya asked her to return home, they can only leave the island by helicopter there's no other way. That's when the uke will threaten to kill Zenya sister if Zenya refuses to let him go and together with the sister he escapes and leaves Russia, he didn't do anything to her, only used her to leave the island.
Soo uke managed to escape, after maybe like a few months When he was already back in Korea his mother suffered an accident (if I am not mistaken) and when he rushed to the hospital, guess who was sat next to her. YES Zenya, he chased the uke down all the way ro Korea. Not because he wanted to kill the uke, he truly fell in love with him. Things gets better from there.....
