Darn I try to read mostly completed ones. I hate the cliffhangers plus I always mix up plots from different titles in my mind lol. I usually put a summary on chapter last read on my notes but still when you forget you forget I'd be reading something from the last chapter I read and be like... when is this character going to make an appearance? Then realize that that character doesn't belong in that story

I forgot this manhwa where a guy (uke) was a bounty hunter and needed money so he tried capturing this wanted guy (seme). He always nearly catches him but then he also got wanted due to some instances. In the latter part, the uke was trapped in a plant like monster putting a seed on his c*ck and then it sprouted a baby and copied the seme's appearance. There are better entertainment sources to find plot... I believe drawing a manga/hwa/hua is hard and it's best done as a novel adaptation but a lot of artists want to draw their own stories
It is still a market and one that's very fast (one week to a month for a ch plus not that many hiatus is tiring for a one person production) and competitive (agencies, multiple entries, "sell me a story with a oneshot compelling enough before I can hire you for a year long contract for that story with multi chap", limited reading time: maximum 24H a day approximating to reading 96 chapters but the true average is 40ish ch a day)
As a result I observed that for now there is an enphasis on speed that's absolutely hammering quality to the baaaaaaase. The argument is that pornographic content is easily marketable (people love sexual gratification, just see the boom of porn markets that's a gift that keeps on giving, now easily sharable, profitable, and normalised because of how much money it gets and the push that sex workers are still workers that need appropriate work conditions and protection) and easy to produce! (You don't need to think about complicated things and just focus on pretty drawing with nakey nakey)
The only way an artist, imo, finds time to *think* about plot is by buying time because they're constrained by their agency's schedule (there are freelancers and they work slow so we're not satiated by them alone, we as consumers, look for more all the time, the demand is crazy high)
So how to buy time?

I also like the way the author made it clear that Gale is not some anti hero, but is an actual piece of shit who does whatever he likes(he's an actual trash). It also showed through Gale's character how the abused becomes the abuser when they never experienced a support system. No one was there to help him at his vulnerable state thus to compensate, he became like them (his abuser) to avoid being the vulnerable the person between the power imbalance.
What I also find interesting is his contradictory behavior towards Simon, sure he hates Simon to the point of wanting Simon to suffer but he never attempted to kill him despite the fact he can easily overpower Simon. He just expresses how much he hates Simon because of how similar Simon is appearance wise to his father. However I think the reason he hates Simon is due to the on going resentment and jealousy.
Resentment, because he tried to ask for help and only person he can rely on in that god forsaken household is Simon but Simon is often at Connor's, and he barely stays at home (I can't blame Simon on this one). That probably made him feel abandoned and betrayed cuz he's the only one suffering.
Jealous, cuz Simon is out there away from home, safe and sound and seems to be living the best of his life with people who actually cares for him. Gale envied Simon's freedom and genuine love he is receiving.
However despite all the pent up resentment he had towards Simon, I think he's still clings into that one memory of him and Simon when they were kids. Because the only person who once treated him right in that household was Simon. Anyways I hate him as a person but I find him interesting as a character. I felt bad for him but that doesn't excuse his actions.
Well the art isn't the strong suit of this story, but you get used to it. You can't compare to older mangas I used to read when I was younger with hands bigger than their heads hahah
