Both of them are filled with anxiety. Cirrus has more of anxiety and abandonment issues so he’s more likely to be clingy and possessive. I can say that because I’ve been in his shoes and somewhat in Skylar’s shoes. So it’s hard for me to dislike both of them, I hate their behavior but not them as a human being.
It’s not like Cirrus wanted to snoop around on Skylar’s phone, clearly he knew it was wrong but his insecurity won over his control. Isn’t it ironic? He wants to be in control but all this time, his insecurities are in control.
And it’s not like Skylar wanted to beat his partner, he is clearly remorseful and apologized for that. He knew it was wrong of him.
Both were in the wrong and both apologized to each other. Their traumas are still unresolved so this shit is bound to happen again one day. They will either be together for a long time till death, or they will separate halfway through their relationship. End of fucking discussion.
