And in the og story the villain king dies after the mc that he captured, escapes and got his army back, so the new villain king (transmigrator) released the mc to save himself and they got closer and stuff, but events from the og novel still happened and the new villain king had to flee. He disguised himself as a girl and got into a carriage yada yada but the mc chased him and blocked their path, and they had this whole confrontation but in the end the villain king still chose to leave and the mc got mad and threw the jade hairpiece that the mc’s mom gave the mc, on the ground and broke it.
