Just a general question. Why is it that they cry about it being rape when an old man or some random dude does it but it's not so when the ml does it. The art.The ml is always attempted to be made the buff..hansome guy.So many people on here are down for the art so bad that they even resort to protecting the ml. I love beautiful art too and I love handsome men too. But do I go defending their wrong. No.
There's no point in asking it even if this was your genuine concern because if you try to tell them wrong they get way too defensive or aggressive.

I do agree with you to some extend but I'm not trying to justify ml in jinx & waterside.

Um so basically there is a background story of people awakening bc of explosion , alien invasion ect... and so with awakening some ppl become espers who has variety of powers it could be anything to fight whatever danger exost in that world and some espers are more powerful than others and they have a ranking system for this usually S rank espers are the strongest the ranking goes on to like E but when espers use their powers their body starts to lose control or they start to overheat so they need someone to help regulate this power, energy inside them there is where guides come from they also have powers from awakening that power being guiding espers to balance, regulate their power so they dont go berserk. Guides also bave rankings and in some stories compability btw espers and guides are a big deal as well . Yeah basically this is guideverse٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

yeah it's abt an espers who have a power to fight monsters in dungeon, etc, but if they get injured, went berserk, overuse their powers, and such, they need to be "guided" by coming in contact with the guides who have a high compatibility with them, such as kissing, holding hands, intercourse, etc, the more intimate it is, the better they feel

It's basically differentiate on how authors wants to execute story with concept of guidvesere I will explain simply --

- Esper - is a person who has strongest powers (like fire , telepathy, water or things control type) they are like heroes in the world of monsters like there are monsters they fight government organize them and to control their power or not to let them rampage they need a person who will give them mind peace or calamity to their powers. Sometime esper without a guide become a empty shell so without his guide ,esper is in strongest needs for a guide.

- Guide - is a person who is meant to be with esper but his destination is simple he gives sense of calmness to his esper that's his work is not let to his esper rampage.

They don't become partners eventually cuz they are also divided in hierarchical order like S-rank esper are strongest they need same rank of guide to supervise them sometimes test are made to check if they suite each other if they suite that means they compadible enough strongest the Esper and match the strongest guide they needs to intimate with each other give esper sense of security or power control.

Sometimes guide playes the role of archive wheel for esper who is out of control so it's easier to handle him so people around them don't get injured. For an esper guide become his weakness and it's advantages or disadvantages both.


mostly this guidevese getting popular for making esper a dangerous person who are crazy mostly those are semes, they needs controler so it's important for them to have his own guide.
