Death is a normal part of life.
Yet, people despise it, simply because they do not appreciate what they have. Life is not something everyone deserves to have, it is a gift that can be taken away at any time. People who think they deserve to live forever do not understand that living hurts a lot more than death.
They get to see everyone they care about die, while not being able to do so to join them. They'll live with all their regrets, knowing that they chose to suffer. Eventually, everything will lose their meaning, and by that time, they will wish that they were not alive to witness it.
And if they do not care about what they have lost, if they don't care that people close to them have died, do they even deserve to live in the first place?

some might have been confused on “i went to her house to see how it goes with shouta”, just like in the unofficial translation, the trial for the babysitter started the day sougo went to see akira in the hospital since the unofficial goes like “they’re (the babysitter and sister) at her house now to see how shouta and her are getting along”. the dialogues and translation were honestly confusing, so it could also be a plot hole on the author’s part that they missed. the sister’s design when she met up with sougo at the hospital might have also been a mistake cus no way in hell is the conflict gonna end right away if it was really some strangers. it would have also been weird to put such unnecessary conflict in a wholesome story

Lyla's inferiority complex and character shift are tad bit annoying. She's got quite a different level of character trait between two worlds. I feel like she could've done better but I also get how depressed mental status works so I can't entirely express my frustrations (because I can't say that I'll get the feeling; I'm on the strong and careless side). That's just a perfect depiction of how trauma and repetitive events can cause such a ripple effect. That's why I'm thankful that she found herself some good allies.
The emperor went from almost a good father to a trash person. The empress also almost portrayed a good person character, but in the end, she's also a trash. Take note that she's been turned that way not because of love, but of pride. Plus, it's also still confusing how Helene is connected through all of this, but I hope Lyla could find the courage, in her borrowed yet second chance of living a better life, and stand up to herself. I vouch for good recovery and improvement! - future RN
