I wanna read manga about adopting child, set in modern times. But I want something where everything is shown "from the beginning" when the child and guardian get to know each other for the first time. I mean I don't want story where child was adopted, but the story begins several years after the fact and is not main theme of the story. Of course it can be adoption inside family like in Usagi Drop for example.
Don't give me Spy X Family or Migi&Dali please, they are nice manga, but I wanna something more on realistic side.

It's omegaverse BL. It started off with Alpha x Beta (i think). The couple were separated. Then the top got into rut and his beta manifested into omega. But the top couldn't remember who he spent the night with and they're bonded. The omega ran went missing and then years later the omega have 5(?) yo kid (Alpha). Welp they're common tropes in trashy bl and josei so we have to dig deeper for the good ones unfortunately. The majority of the ones that use those tropes are shallowly written with no complexity so I tend to dnf them since the chances of it being a quality read are abysmal.
